Indiana Schools Recognized at Dance Marathon Leadership Conference

Four Indiana schools earned recognition for their Riley Dance Marathon programs at this year’s Dance Marathon Leadership Conference, held August 3-6 in St. Louis, MO. Miracle Network Dance Marathon is an international movement involving over 400 colleges, universities, and K-12 schools across the United States and Canada that fundraise for their local member hospital of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
The Indiana programs that won awards are:
- Indiana University (IUDM) – Organization Management Award
- This award recognizes a program that demonstrates success through effective structure, communication strategies, member accountability, educational and training opportunities, and an effective transition process.
- Carmel High School – Best High School Award
- Ball State University (BSUDM) – Miracle Maker Award for highest year-over-year total increase in the fundraising category of $150,000 - $299,000
- Indiana State University (StateDM) – Miracle Maker Award for highest year-over-year total increase in the fundraising category of $75,000 - $149,000
