Riding the Waves at Camp Riley

This summer, 186 campers experienced life without limits at Camp Riley. One of the most popular activities at Camp Riley is waterskiing, which takes place with support from the Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana and the Indiana Department of Natural Resources. We invite you to see adaptive waterskiing in action by watching the video below.

This year, campers attended Camp Riley from 62 Indiana counties and 8 states. Since 1955, Camp Riley sessions have taken place at Bradford Woods, Indiana University’s outdoor recreational facility. Campers with physical diagnoses make their “home away from home” at one of several Camp Riley sessions, enjoying facilities and activities that are designed to be barrier-free. Through the generous support of Riley Children’s Foundation donors, no camper is turned away due to financial need.

Thank you for making these adaptive adventures possible for Camp Riley campers. As camper Leo shared, “You’re making people happy, one smile at a time.”
